Welcome
Located in Norfolk, VA. the only Indian restaurant that serves and caters authentic, freshly prepared Indian Chaat street food.
Chaat is an assorted savory snacks typically served at every road side tracks from big outlets to small carts in India, Pakistan and rest of South Asia. The sweet, sour, tangy, spicy, and crunchy taste makes this dish scrumptious and tempting. The original Chaat is a mixture of potato pieces, crispy fried bread, gram bean and spices. Chaats are usually served with chutneys, one of them made mainly of dates and tamarind.
We started out exclusively at private events and we still enjoy a good party.
I was in the mood of trying something different and found this restaurant on Yelp a few days ago and decided to go there. The owners were very nice and patient with all our questions. The chicken curry was very tasty, the meat was tender and perfectly cooked. We tried the samosa also and it was good. At most Indian and Asian places, the rice has no taste so we were pleasantly surprised by the good rice here. My husband had the masala eggplant. The Lassi was tasty as well. Very clean place. Little far from us as we are from VB but whenever we will be in the area, we will be back.
Looks like it’s a family owned restaurant and it has a very good service. Food is all right if you like Indian street food.I asked the owner if food is halal and they confirmed it’s HALAL.
This place is great. Each time we order something new and share the different dishes around. Great dosa’s. Friendly staff. A local gem.
I love this small Indian food restaurant. Almost everything I’ve tried is very delicious. Lots of items on the menu. Very affordable prices. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The place is very clean and decorated nicely. Highly recommend.
